Delivering flowers to a patient in the hospital can be tricky. 

Some patients are restricted from receiving live or cut flowers due to their medical condition.  This is especially important for patients with cancer or immune diseases.  For those patients, we recommend a silk arrangement.

Patients who are in an intensive care unit or emergency room are usually restricted from receiving flowers until they are placed in a regular room.  If your patient is in an ICU, it's best to wait until their condition improves before ordering.

If you're looking for a balloon bouquet, we can only deliver mylar balloons to Columbus hospitals.  No latex balloons are permitted.  Stuffed animal toys are usually OK.

Fruit baskets are generally accepted by hospitals as long as the fruit has a peeling, such as apples, oranges, bananas, grapes or tangerines.  Chocolate and nuts are usually permitted.  We rely on you to know your patient's food allergies.

Occasionally, a patient will be discharged before we can get the arrangement delivered.  If that occurs, we will call you and ask for further instruction.  If the patient lives in Central Ohio, we can forward the arrangement to the home address.  If the patient lives out of the area, we can wire an order to their home.
